Amber Found Anthony at Shayla's… What She Did Next Shocked Everyone!
Amber's heels clicked like thunder on Shayla’s front porch. Her phone was still clutched in her hand, Anthony’s name glowing on the screen, his last text burned into her brain:
"Staying late at work. Don't wait up."
But Shayla's Instagram story had said otherwise—posted barely 10 minutes ago. A dim-lit room, soft R&B playing, two glasses of wine, and a familiar silhouette in the background that looked a hell of a lot like her boyfriend.
Amber wasn’t one for drama. But she also wasn’t one to be played.
She rang the doorbell.
Nothing.
She knocked. Harder this time.
Still nothing.
Then she tried the knob.
Unlocked.
The door creaked open slowly. The scent of candle wax and cheap Pinot Noir hit her before she even stepped inside.
"Shayla?" she called, voice calm, but her chest pounding like a war drum.
A pause. Then muffled voices. Panic. Movement.
From the hallway emerged Anthony, shirt half-buttoned, face pale.
“Amber, what are you doing here?” he stammered.
“What am I doing here?” she repeated, stepping in, eyes flicking past him toward the living room. “What are you doing here?”
Shayla appeared behind him, wrapped in a silk robe that wasn't hers—Amber had bought it last Christmas. She didn’t speak. She didn’t need to.
Amber stared at them both for a long, painful second.
Then she smiled.
"Good," she said. "Now I know."
She pulled something from her purse: a velvet ring box. Opened it. Showed them the ring.
“I was going to propose tonight,” she said, voice flat. “But clearly, you two have plans.”
Anthony’s mouth dropped. Shayla gasped.
Amber set the box on the coffee table, calmly turned, and walked out.
But that wasn't the shocking part.
The next morning, Anthony’s car was towed. His phone was disconnected. His name erased from the lease.
And Shayla? She showed up to work to find her desk cleaned out, a letter of termination signed by Amber herself.
Turns out, Amber wasn’t just a heartbroken girlfriend—she was also the co-founder of the company both Shayla and Anthony worked for.
She kept the company. She kept her dignity.
And within a week, she was in Paris, holding hands with someone new
