Amber: (laughs softly)
None of those things. But it will change everything.

Anthony: (leans forward, setting coffee down)
Amber, what is it? You’re really starting to freak me out now.

Amber:
Okay. Just... promise you won’t interrupt. Let me say it all the way through.

Anthony:
Alright. I promise.

Amber: (takes a deep breath)
For the past couple weeks, I’ve been feeling… different. Tired, emotional, craving weird things. At first, I thought I was just stressed or something. But then… I took a test.

Anthony: (brows furrow)
A test?

Amber:
Yeah. That kind of test.

Wait… Are you saying—

So I took one. Then another. Then I went to the doctor, just to be sure. And they confirmed it.
