Finally Anthony findout the Kai DNA test through his Lawyer

 

"Bloodlines Unveiled"

Anthony sat at the edge of his leather armchair, fingers tapping anxiously against the armrest. The quiet hum of the ceiling fan above did little to calm the storm inside him. He had asked his lawyer, James Whitaker, to look into a suspicion that had haunted him for months — whether Kai, the boy he'd raised for eight years, was truly his biological son.

The front door clicked open, and moments later, James entered the room with a thick folder tucked under one arm. His face was grim.

“You have it?” Anthony asked, his voice low.

James nodded. “I’m not going to sugarcoat this. The DNA results came back. Kai is not your biological son.”

Silence fell like a guillotine. Anthony’s breath caught in his throat.

“How... how could this happen?” he murmured, eyes scanning the folder James laid on the table. “I was there when he was born.”

James gave a slow nod. “I believe you. But the lab results are conclusive. I triple-checked the chain of custody. There's no mistake. I also pulled hospital records. There was an ‘incident’ — a nurse who was later dismissed for misconduct. It’s possible there was a switch. Or...” He hesitated.

“Or what?” Anthony pressed.

“Or someone knew something — and kept it hidden.”

A name floated in Anthony’s mind: Elena. His ex-wife. Her cryptic remarks, her defensiveness whenever questions about Kai’s early days came up — it all started making sense.

“What does this mean legally?” Anthony asked, his voice hoarse.

James sighed. “You’ve raised him as your own. In the eyes of the law, you're still his legal father — unless you decide otherwise. But if you want to pursue the truth, we might be able to find out who Kai’s biological parents are.”

Anthony looked at a picture on the mantle — a photo of him and Kai at the beach, their smiles wide, frozen in time.

“I don’t care what the test says,” Anthony whispered. “He’s my son. But I will find out who did this. I deserve the truth.”
